Increase your sawmill’s output and material recovery with the Wood-Mizer EG300—a robust, dual-function machine engineered for both precise edging and multirip sawing. Designed to enhance productivity by up to 30%, the EG300 helps sawmill operators maximize the value of each log by turning more of it into valuable boards and cants.
Built to handle cants up to 60 mm thick and 550 mm wide, the EG300 offers a maximum cutting width of 420 mm between blades. Operators can easily switch between two working modes:
- Edging Mode – Utilizes two 350 mm circular blades (one fixed, one movable) to edge rough boards to the desired width.
- Multirip Mode – Accommodates up to five circular blades for producing multiple boards in a single pass. Spacer widths can be adjusted and customized on request.
As standard, the EG300 includes two saw blades for edging, with one blade adjustable via the control panel. The integrated electronic Setworks system ensures fast, accurate blade positioning. Optional laser guides enhance cutting precision and optimize material recovery.
The EG300’s modular design, comprising a central saw unit, infeed table, and outfeed table, makes transportation, assembly, and integration into your workflow straightforward. Modular roller tables can be added to extend the handling capacity.

Designed for transport convenience, the EG300 Mobile trailer has a GVWR of 1500 kg and a braked axle. The hitch folds to the side when not in use, saving space during storage or operation.
